George Brady will be giving a NWCO class at the the Rendezvous in Cashmere on the 28th of August. Trapper training starts at 8:00AM. Rendezvous is 27th, 28th and 29th of August at The Chelan County Fairgrounds. Starts in the afternoon friday.
WDFW is changing the designation to WCO in July.

Does one need to sign up for the class and is there a fee??
It never changes, but it is always different.

There is a fee for the manual. I think $10 and we would like you to join the association. Don't think you need sign up ahead of time for the rendezvous classes. Might be best if you called George Brady and ask.(509)923-2326 or e-mail at cascadeb@televar He may be in Germany right now so don't be impatient if he doesn't get back to you right away.

Both the Trapper Training class and the NWCO class are held. Trapper training starts in the morning and the NWCO class starts when trapper training is over. The whole thing wraps up some time in the afternoon. Trapper training takes up most of the time. The NWCO class is pretty short.
You must have the trapper training to get a trapping license and you must have the license to get the NWCO permit.

Hello, I'm going in for my trapping test on the 21st July, and was told by a lady at the mill creek office: I simply needed to pass the test, then you go buy the trapping license. and then take a class with a fella out of olympia to get a NWC cert. Is this incorrect? sure as heck don't want to miss the class if I need it to trap this year!

That is what is known as challenging the course. Yes, you can do it that way but I would advise you to at least get the Trapper Training Manual and study it.
If you take the NWCO class from Sean it will be pretty much and all day deal.
