Snoqualmie Tree Farm question

Hey all,

Just had a quick question about the Hancock Tree Farm (Snoqualmie). I can't seem to find a map of it, and am not sure what where to access it. Whats the closest place to access it from the north side?

Thanks for that map, sort of shows the area I guess. Is it a pretty tough walk in there if you dont have permit?

Yea either buy a permit in March time frame or get your bike and start peddling.

So, I have a permit to the Hancock area.. anyone can enter without one on foot or with a Mt. Bike. To enter with a car you must have a permit. I would recommend at least have a Bike as the roads go for miles and miles and the best grounds are way back in there.

Just don't get pissed off when someone in a white truck comes driving by you, after you've been peddling your butt off since an hour before daylight.

A lot of the cuts have been sprayed with herbicides in there so you really have to scout it out. On google earth it looks good but you dont wanna bike all the way in there first day of season to find out your clearcut has no animals in it because of herbicides. There are two entrances I see from the north that are do-able. One is off the ben howrd rd, the other is a long uphill road between gold bar and index (note the precision of direction  ). Honestly you dont have to be way back in the boonies to get into deer, only a couple miles

The "best" access would probably be off the North Fork Road outside of North Bend. Theres actually a couple clearcuts off the road as well.
