curious how many guys will fill more than one permit with just one tag, it's gonna entice people to think about poaching?
“In common with”..... not so much!!

That's a good point. They need to do something so that people can't draw more than one permit per species.

right, unless it's a second tag for that species.

I think one area they could work on is getting people to know and use the correct terminology. We purchase our tags, but draw permits.

I remember in 2005 two guys drew permits for spring bear in the CF and told me that they could fill 4 tags with those two permits. Some people just don't read the regs completely.

You let me know if you run into these guys again! I will go hunting right behind them, cell phone in hand!  Just trying to get ready for next year! :chuckle:

P
Ya my dad drew wenaha west muzzy bull and bethal rifle bull tell me that ain't some $hit.. never have drawn then he hits the lotto.. I think I know what he gonna hunt..

I take it he had the multi elk tag also? He should buy a lotto ticket, I hope he knows what he has when he gets that wenaha permit in the mail. He went up against guys with a lot of points including myself with 15, he was damn lucky to draw two tags but what a waste on one of those tags when he fills the first one. That's another reason why i think this new system sucks, people can draw more than one tag but still only shoot one elk which is good but then the other tag never gets used. By the way, I can't believe he drew that muzzy tag with only 2, 4, or 6 points. Don't know which one he is but damn lucky. Hope he makes the best of it and has fun.
no I don't think we get what kind of tag that is? Are you serious buddy? And he had 14 points not 3..? Why the hell we would put in for it if we didn't know what tag it is? It takes 10+ points to draw in the blues on Average.
I was wrong about which side I thought your dad drew, the two west guys did have 13 points according to the wdfw and the east wenaha muzzy guys all had very low points- 2,4 and 6. I called the dept when I found out I didn't draw to see what order i came in and they told me how many points the successful people had. I'm sure he knows what he's doing it's too bad that one of those tags are probably going to waste, a lot of guys would love to have one of them. But thanks to the fish and game's new system and surely your dad's success in the west wenaha that second tag goes to waste. As for that average of 10 points, this year that went out the window- with the east muzzy tag anyway.

Stupid people will do stupid things no matter what.  I doubt there are many legit hunters sitting on the fence as whether to become a poacher or not.  Everyone just needs to keep their eyes open.

I drew a late season Whitetail Buck for the SE area and a 2nd WT deer in Spokane and my Mrs drew a 2nd WT deer in Spokane.  Good use of deer points if you ask me.

We also used up allot of points this year. Nine total draws between my wife and I. Some will go to waste for obvious reasons. I had 10 points on most everything and the Wife had six points across the board.
