I am purchasing three new Moultrie 6.0 IR Trail cam and would like to know if I should go with the 16GB SD chip or if 8GB is plenty. I plan on doing 2 week soaks may be longer depending on the time of year.

8 should be more than ample I left my Moultrie out for 3 months with a 4 and had room to spare. Alos depends on how much activity is in the area and your settings.

make sure you check the camera and see what the biggest sd card is that it will take! some cameras will only take like a 2gb. so check that out before you get the cards. my cuzz had got like the 4gb and his new cams would only take like 2gb and the others will not work unless smaller. but if would go with the biggest i could.
