Gun Safes - Let's See Them
« on: March 04, 2008, 08:55:13 PM »
Since Mike (Hunting Cowboy) won't post a pic of his new gun safe let's get a new thread of pics of everybody elses safe. I'll start with mine, it's a Pony Express by the Sun Welding Co. It weighs about 650 lb empty, about 800 as is, and is bolted to the floor. It is set up for about 50% guns/50% other stuff, holds 12 long guns and numerous handguns.

Let's see some more.

300 can we get a peek inside that puppy? Does it have ample room for guns and other valuables?

i'd love to post a pic of mine, but i don't have it yet. i'm still trying to decide how big to buy. i am so worried that i'll buy  one and it will be too small.

probably go with a 25 cubic footer, which will hold around 20-22 or so long guns.
keep the pics coming, and maybe open the doors so we can see what the inside looks like.

That safe is a beauty Cowboy. Looks big enough to me. When I had more guns than room for them (pre-divorce) I would only keep the ones I was most proud of in the safe.

Great thread, as I'm also in the market.  Cowboy, I assume the shelves on the left side of your safe come out in case you need the extra gun room?  I don't need the extra room now, but I'm also not very good at getting rid of guns I don't use anymore.  So would be nice to have the shelves now, but be able to convert to extra gun room if needed.

LMAO, hey Cowboy, that cigar must have been hand rolled by Castro himself to have it locked away :chuckle: :chuckle:

If anyone's interested in Rustic, locking gun cabinet's, custom made, I am picking mine up this weekend and the builder in N. Bend has great prices, I'll throw up some pictures. I paid $500 for a six gun cabinet with locking glass door and lower drawer.

this is what i ordered, made by canon...60x30x24, holds 22 guns..at least thats what the info says. mine will be gray instead of the red in the picture. it seems like a good value for the price. i think we got a good deal and i can't wait till it gets here next week.
dman...looking forward to seeing pics of what you got too.
