Drew my Wyoming Deer tag!!
« on: July 07, 2010, 08:35:52 AM »
I drew the deer tag for wy i have been trying to draw for 4 years  :IBCOOL: . It should be a great  time I have seen some great bucks in the area and it has everything from Desert to High country I have from Oct. 1 to November 10 to find a good buck. and it runs with my cow elk tag so i may fill my elk tag while hunting deer. Im super pumped last year when i was elk hunting i seen several 170" plus bucks. My fiance has already laid down the law cuz i said i was going to use my vacation and go out there for the hole season.   :( she shut me down on that  but i will stil get to hunt the first week and the last 2 weeks.

lol im not blaming her for not letting me go. she just brings me back to reality every once in a while. when i take 2weeks vacation i actually dont work for 6 weeks. and i have a couple hunts planned this year. I am planning on spending 2 weeks in ak after i get off work to go after a moose with a co-worker and then i was in canada for a week last month. I plan on hunting in wa too so i dont need to spend so much time in wy i have a cow elk tag there as well but it runs into jan. It will all work out and i am confident i will find a nice buck.

Good luck man!  I know what you mean about the lady, mine makes me keep my trips at a "reasonable" length too :bash:
