Mid-Col. Smallmouth Pointers?
« on: July 09, 2010, 04:51:58 PM »
Have been trying to get the girls on some smallmouth in the Columbia down here around Vancouver, but it's so slow I'm going to start having trouble keeping their interest.  Everybody says I need to take them up the river further and they will catch fish til their arms fall off.

I'm game to try that, but have never been up there and wondered if someone might be willing to point me in the right direction?  Not too familiar with the different launchs up there or what areas would be most user friendly for a couple younger girls... maybe the Biggs area?

People make it sounds like you just launch anywhere and start fishing along the shoreline, throwing anything that looks like bait... it would be nice to have a little more of a plan than that though?

Thanks for any suggestions or input.  If it works out I'll post a couple happy little girls with some smallmouth!
