The HHC includes nearly 50 organizations representing 45,000 members who are advocates for hunting, fishing and wildlife conservation.  The Council opposes regulation of wildlife by initiative and political rhetoric and supports wildlife regulation based on science. The HHC is dedicated to political action on behalf of the hunting and related communities

If you are not aware of whom HHC is, it is an organization founded by numerous organization Washingtonian's For Wildlife Conservation, Hound Hunters, Muzzle Loader groups, Pheasants Forever, and all of the SCI chapters in the state 7 of them. We as a group have hired Ed Owens a lobbyist to represent us in all Political activities and legistlation in this state. Purpose is to stop any legistlation we believe is going to affect your gun right and hunting rights in this state. Endorse any bill that are favorable to us also. We are in the process now of interviewing all of the candidates running for office in this state and finding out where they stand on issues involving us. this being a election year we need to know whom to endorse.. Last year we suceeded in stopping 123 bills that were introduced to the legistlator that would have taken your rights away.
This is a great event which we will have a box lunch and catered Mexican dinner afterwards. Followed by a raffle and a silent auction which we can raise fund to help pay for Ed's salary [ he does not do this for free] and to raise money for our Political Action Committee.
Ed is possibly the most powerful or influencial person we have working for us in Olympia.

This is an outstanding organization that has been very effective in the legislature. Hope they have a good shoot. :twocents:

 :chuckle:

I think I have been watching everyone else shoot for too many years, but I still wished I could come and see everyone. I'm nearly home from a near two week vacation and I have a ton of catching up to do, so I better not go playing again right away... :chuckle:
