Haha Wells has been picking up so I've heard, Gibbons and a few other guides are in an article in the Wenatchee World and they say its been getting better and that there are soon to be a lot of fish stacking up at the mouth of the Okanogan in the Brewster Pool. Because of this hot weather the fish aren't going to want to run up the shallower water so they are staying in the Columbia for us to catch :)

Good thing Im getting a new boat next week... anybody want to sell me a couple of downriggers? haha

It has nothing to do with the water being shallow.  It's all about the temperature of the water. ;)

I know it doesn't have to do with the shallows I'm saying that because it is shallow the water temp. is going to be warmer right now with the sun beating down on it. So therefore the shallowness does have something to do with it really

Yeah it does, the shallower the water, the faster it will heat up, but really its more of the tributaries that dump into nthe okanogan that are warmer. All together, its a raging warm and muddy river.

Fished last night, we boated 26 sockeye in about 2 1/2- 3 hours. it was a frenzy, doubles, tripples, and fish slapping all over.
