Bear season 2010 Countdown.
« on: July 09, 2010, 06:21:48 PM »
I've only shot two bears so far but there is nothing I've hunted that is as exciting as bear hunting. I absolutely LOVE bruins and can't wait to get out and hopefully bag another one. Just a little over two months for me. Less than a month for others. Man I can't wait!!!!  :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL:

MH get your ars up here. WooHoo!!!!

I figured I'd give bears a whack this year for the first. So far all I know is to look out for berries & clearcuts.

is there an electric version of the calls? for training purposes, wouldn't want to be sending the wrong call.

Ill give you my opinion on this.bear yotes elk bobs, they don't know how a professional call is supposed to sound..Ive heard some cool elk bugling and some sick ones buy elk themselves..Heck listen to the different rooster crows. So there isn't a science to calling in that respect so much.BUT..how you present the sound is important..You can run a bob out of an area sometimes with to much pain in the call. You can also run off a bear the same..You will get as many different opinions on this as there are calls out there.Google real sounds of different prey in pain,or lost and listen.A screaming prey means something is getting it,Sooo that also means something else is there to deal with besides the prey..I could go on and on with this.If you can make the huntwa BBQ you will hear many different ways and techniques..BE THE PREY>>>>
