Tonight my Daughter and I saw a doe with two fawns in Kenmoore across from Bright water on 80th. I saw a deer just up the hill two years ago . pretty cool to see them so close, wonder where daddy  is. How close to town have you guys seen deer?

They're in my yard every damn day of August through December: just try and grow a tree in that!  I planted alfalfa trying to keep them out of everything else.  They're cool to have in the city until you actually have them in your city, and then they're a big rodent.
Bring a GPS!  It's awkward to have to eat your buddies!

last summer I saw a nice 4x4 and a smaller 3x3 within a few hundred yards of Southhill mall. I've seen numerous does in the same area.

I have seen a few at the 405 - 522 interchange in bothell. I grew up around bothell and heve seen them occasionally throughout the years.

I see them all the time on I5 in Lacey, and there is a group of deer right next to Cabelas.  We use to have a group that would wonder our neighborhood, but haven't seen them in a wile.  Loss of habitat i suppose.

I live in Oly, and there a ton of deer all around this town.  I live in a subdivision out towards Yelm, and see them all the time.  I saw a big buck right by Cabelas late last fall.  He had one antler broken off, but was a good 4 on the other side.  I see them pretty regularly around Capital Lake, right down town.

I'm not in the city but I had to chase a little buck out of my garden 4 times yesterday!  The last time I fired 2 shots from my 30-30 and all he did was casually go through the fence and bed down 20 yards on the other side.  At least he got shocked this time! He walked between my daughter (who was playing in the pool) and me yesterday without blinking an eye.  He was literally 12 feet from my kid and didn't care.  If he is still around Sept 1st one of the local kids might get their shot at their first deer.  I like having them around but not if they are not afraid of people.

Blacktail are every place, it amazes me the new places I see them. Recently saw a deer in downtown Maple Valley, right behind the kids park and another at four corners. Saw a really nice 4 pt. in downtown Issaquah and a huge 5pt. on South Hill Puyallup in the last five years.

they are in my yard everyday..... of course I live in the country a little ways.  Nothing to see them walking around town either here,  eating peoples roses and in their gardens.

2 years ago, after hunting all deer season unsuccessfully, I'm heading from my house to my in-laws up in Bonney Lake.  I get onto 410 at the first Sumner onramp, and theres a doe in the grass that the on ramp raps around.  About 2 miles later, where 410 curves and turns up the hill, theres a buck about 15 feet from the shoulder grazing.  No more than 2 days after season was over.  :bash:  Talk about rubbing it in your face.  I thought for a moment I saw a copy of the hunting regs in the bucks hoofs.
The only difference between a butt kisser and a brown noser is depth perception.

This happens in Shelton too.  Problem is, I live in an HOA so, no hunting.  That means they are in my yard year round

A few years ago a friend of mine who lives less than a half mile from valley general hospital in Renton had 3 really nice bucks living on and around his property.
