special tags for doing your harvest report????????
« on: March 11, 2008, 07:00:42 PM »
I am sure this has been covered before, but I was curious is anyone ever found out where they post the results for the special tags for doing your  game reporting, or when they draw if they do.

I think it's a big lie. They sure keep those tag results top secret. I have never heard of anyone getting one.

there have been some people on here say they know someone that got one.  But it seems to be top secret I guess.  You would think it would be posted somewhere.  They post the other special hunts and raffle tags.  With our WDFW you always wonder.

It would sure be nice if one of the site users would get one of those tags.

Has anyone ever tried calling the WDFW or emailing them about those tags? How many do they give out anyways isn't it really low, being that there are thousands of other hunters our odds are probably worse than drawing an OIL tag.

Maybe I will give the WDFW a call and ask the question.  It might be interesting to see what they have to say.  I know the odds of drawing one is not very good.  But just to see the winners posted somewhere I think would make alot of people believe it really happens.

Can't remember the time frame when this topic was discussed, but they issuse two I believe?  They are regular season tags, not special permits.  Essentially just another tag!
