LOL.  I know.  They can't come to grips with reallity.  There are some things I like about Utah and then there are some things I can't stand....  Obviously I am stereotyping, but it was funny as I ran into a Utard while hunting in NM.  He was textbook MM.  He pulled in with Daddy's fifth wheel with at about 45 mph, came screeching to a halt on this rough road, yelled from the truck "Seen any?"  We yelled back, nope, and off he went.  The next morning I came off the mountain with the animal quartered in back.  I had already harvest my bull, caped him and hauled him out of the woods,  and he was just crawling out of the sack to take a leak.  His buddies truck was loaded with ATVs and they ran them up and down the road for the rest of the day or for at least as long as we broke camp and headed for cooler climes with the meat.

I like the utards , they keep the elk away from the roads . It's fun to send them on a goose chase . It's funny when I'm out hunting I never see any elk   ;)

I've never hunted Utah but I think it's more of a "Modern hunter" thing than a Utah thing. these days there are a lot of lazy people who think they are the $H1#. Lots of em up in the blues too. They all cruise around knowing that they're the best roadhunters out there and they own the mountains cause they can go fast on the windy roads and bugle out the window, they wear the latest, best gear because it looks cool through the window of the truck and then they give you a dirty look cause you're on their mountain.... or road. :chuckle:

You know there's a lot of guys on that website that fit that to a T.

I know what you mean Blue, Last deer season we had finish our morning hunt and was driving to a new area, when we spotted some deer up the hill, two of us got out and headed up the hill. that's when I heard of the radio "....what do they think they're doing" Reply "... they're gonna runn'em down...HAHA". These guy never got out of they'er rig to even use the Bino's. The other pickup had a guy standing in the back as they were driving around. some hard core hunts there. :mor:

Admittedly, when I grew up in the Methow, we called them Seattlittes.  Then I dicovered the whole internet thing, and monitored MM, and they became Utards.  Its never nice to stereotype, but sometimes I do it anyway. LOL

HEY!!  I resemble that remark...  I spent YEARS as an ambitious idiot... :chuckle: :chuckle:
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
