3, 2 of which are new. My A-Bolt in .25-06 does not have a scope on it, and the Ruger RS International in .308 win. The other is an old pistol a friend gave me, .32 S & W made by Forehand Arms. Even if I had ammo I don't know if I would shoot that pistol.

I have a Ruger m77 mkII in 7x57 mauser that I bought off of a guy about 6 months ago and I have not fired it yet. He bought it brand new in 2003 and he never fired it either. If I don't sell it I'll shoot it one of these days. I even have a box of ammo for it.

My first gun is a 1962 winchester 22 single shot rifle, and has no serial number, wonder why??

Odd.... I have a 1936 Winchester 22 single shot that has a serial number. It's not uncommon to have guns without serial numbers prior to the turn of the century, but after, I'm pretty sure there was a Gov requirement mandated. I don't rememeber the date.. I think it was 50's era.. or some such.

A mint Ruger #1
Mint BLA .308
My theory is if the wood is too nice I probably will never shoot it. Everyone should have a handfull of collector guns. I like synthetic, stainless for dragging around in the woods and throwing in the truck.

When I get home I will take a pic and post it of the gun.  Not sure why did not have one maybe because its a single shot?

I really don't know.  I really could not even say what I own anymore.  I know of at least one, a Russian SKS still in the cosmoline.  Thought for sure that sucker would go up in value.......

I have an old .32 pistol that was my granddads that I have never fired.  Don't really know if I'd want to.

Only one. Actually my dad owns it. It was handed down the old family tree. I believe it's a 1888 colt revolver or 1889. Something like that. He had it appraised for 5000.00 and actually has paperwork from the colt factory as to when it was made and where it was shipped to. Pretty cool. The appraiser/gunsmith told him not to use conventional ammo, it has to be blackpowder loads to keep from harming it.  :dunno: He has never shot it nor have I. Probably never will.

Six, if we count a muzzleloader I bought used from another member.  Two antique handguns and a sporterized Enfield rifle inherited from my father-in-law (actually, they are my son's).  One  handgun and one rifle purchased in the last year, which will both be fired extensively later this year.  The other 10 have all been shot extensively!
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

it was the gun control act of 1968 the required all firearms have a sn# after that time.
anything before that was grandfathered in to not need a sn#
