I got a winchester 94 buffalo bill commemorative rifle with an octagon barrel that I've never shot and a winchester modal 88 in 308 and a very old pistol my grandfather found in a old box with some gold coins when he was plowing a field when he was in his early 20's

How cool is that?! What a find!

You should do some research, maybe it is stolen loot and the gun from the robbery.  " Now where did I bury that box again?  Who moved my marker?  Crap! "   :bash:

I have 2 that I have never shot. My grandad's single shot 12ga., not safe to shoot. A 270 vangaurd I bought for my wife. She's shot it but its her gun. May shoot it someday, may pass it to my daughter or grand daughter.
Take a kid hunting or fishing, Pass it on, it's not yours to keep!

A couple model 94s and an old win 22 pump, never have and never will. I suppose when I am gone my son will shoot the heck out of them.

More than I want to admit to publicly.  Just not enough time  :bash:
There's a reason they call it hunting, not killing.

Will I think its 2, Berette A391 Sponsor Gun and a Camo 3 1/2 Nova that I won at a DU banquet. I would have dumped the Nova since I do not like pumps but its SN is my SSN.
Missed one, I found a 10-22 that I forgot about

Although are are guns that I would love to purchase that I would never fire, all the guns I own have been used, and carried.  However my little .380 I only fired after I purchased it and I clean it weekly, but don't really shot it, just carry it.  I did have to make sure its reliable tho.  I should shoot it more, its been about a year.

Wait,  I do have one traditions .54 Muzzle Loader that may dad built.  I just want him to shoot it first but he never get out to the range.  Maybe one of these days.

i know a guy who has around 300 long guns he has never shot. The first man i've ever heard admit that he has too many guns. Yes, he is still buying more.
I worked with an old dude who was a sniper in Viet Nam or Korea (i can't remember which) but guns were his life.  He told me that he had somewhere between 300-400 rifles and that most of them were packed in grease, plastic and buried around his place in Lacey and at his cabin above Neah Bay.  He came into work one day with over 100 rifles in the back of his truck and was headed off to hide them.  Most of them had never been shot.

a guy could have a lot of fun getting his place later down the road and a metal detector! now that's my kind of gold :chuckle:

I guess that right before he died he gave a map of their locations to his buddy (probably his only one).  Yep, it would be pretty darn cool to stumble on those!
