columbia national wildlife refuge?
« on: July 16, 2010, 06:29:30 PM »
Can I hunt coyotes in here or not? I'm camping at potholes and the park state parkranger directed me here near soda lake and there are not any signs that say no hunting but the activities board only list wildlife viewing not hunting?

Yes but would it cost me a huge fine or a trip to the pokey?

They told me no. They said you could hunt the species posted, but no others. Deer, upland, and warterfowl. By their posted rules. Nothing else.

Plenty of coyotes in the desert though, just plan on lots of walking.

Where do you go in that unit at? The areas I found today were pretty marshy. And the gras was taller than the kids so no way would we see a yote coming in.

Dodson, C, or A. I haven't hunted it in the summer, so I don't know what the grass is like now.
