cougar hunt
« on: March 06, 2008, 09:53:28 PM »
Looking for ideas for places to go for an opportunty to bag a cougar.

Obviously without a dog its gonna be tough, but i would be cool with heading into "known" gmu that will at least give me chance to knock something down.

If you have had success in the past some place and think it could prove to be something good, please reply soon..

Thanks and as a new member to this forum i am lookin forward to a great season full of opportunities and lots os stories and pictures.

I know for a fact there are a few nice cats in the lower sections of 418. Didn't get to spend much time up their this year, though...  :'(
I left it better than I found it...did you?
I hunt animals because veggies are too easy to stalk.

thanks for all the great tips. I do think however i will end up in either 460 or 654 tomorrow.. I am familiar with those areas as i have hunted elk and late bucks or there in years past.

Rest assured though brother(s) if i get it in my site it'll be time to say ga-night.  8)

Pictures hopefully coming soon  :rockin:
