Had two points for the 600 unit going in. I didn't expect to draw and I DIDN"T! Next year looks pretty good though. I've got thousands of acres to hunt when I do draw the unit. They have GREAT goats in that unit. Congrats to all my brothers and sisters that were sucessful.

I had 2 points going into the 600-00 unit draw as well, no tag for me either.  Oh well, more to look forward to next year I guess.

Okay, something's up.  Only ONE guy here drew a tag?  Is Montana "out of antelope"?  Shouldn't be this hard to draw a speedgoat tag in MT, should it?   :dunno:
I have two points now, so I guess the question is; should I burn them putting in for the 700 block next year, or keep putting in for 480?

Man, I really thought I would get drawn this year... :'(

OK, I calmed down.  Just occurred to me that I will soon be getting a check for $200 from MTFWP...

... I think maybe God wants me to put it towards a new spotting scope, or maybe a youth pump shotgun foir PathfinderJR... :dunno:

I think the draw odds for the 700 region is only about 55% for NR, its not the 90%.  That 90% includes residents.

I don't know, code for haven't looked, to see if Montana cut back on available tags this year versus last year.  But I do know that the past several and even this past year along the highline and east from say Chester on had some rough snow and blow with pretty good drifting, so I've heard the Antelope have been hurt by that.  So there may have been fewer available tags.

I put in for some tough units so I'm not too surprised, disappointed, but I knew this was gonna happen
