Good my application out before I left.  Going in with 3 points for the combo, then when the special draws come out Ill be putting in for 270 for deer, and the breaks for archery elk.

I'm in for the big game combo. If I draw then I have 4 points for a special elk permit.

Ya, not much more than a half court shot at the buzzer chance for me drawing this year, I am banking on M-Ray pulling the tag so I can head over again this year. Looking at getting him his biggest deer to date, will be working my ass off to get him a 300+ bull as well :chuckle:

Wow I'm getting guided for Elk too! I wonder how much this is gonna run me I better let momma know the hunting allowance is going up this year!  :chuckle:

I just spent my $700 on the big game combo...+deer super tag.  My first time ever applying in Montana.  I got invited to put in with a small group of guys, one of which is a local guide, so we'll see what happens....heck, I'm not even sure what part of the state we're gonna be hunting in if we're drawn...

"Wow I'm getting guided for Elk too! I wonder how much this is gonna run me I better let momma know the hunting allowance is going up this year!"

LOL, you know you couldn't pay me if you wanted too. I'm hoping to have my own tag so I will be over there anyway, another strong back to help pack out my bull is payment enough :chuckle:

Actually you shouldn't feel obligated, if you have plans already for elk you won't hurt my feelings, I'll just go over and take pics of all the bulls you missed out on and post them for you later :chuckle: Kind of like I did with all the deer picks this year, not that I'm trying to rub it in..............again :chuckle:
The things that come to those who wait, may be the things left by those who got there first!
