King salmon fishing with Jim Zumbo
« on: July 23, 2010, 11:01:24 AM »
Well got the call from my Buddy that owns Okanogan Vally Guide Service seeing if I wanted to go fishing with him and Jim Zumbo on the Columbia for king. Well of course I said yes.We caught a few sockeye and Jim caught a king 18 to 20 lbs. If you haven't met Jim he is one hell of a guy. the storys never stopped thru the morning. :)

I just talked to Gibbons. Sounds like a good time. Some friend he is, I cant get on his boat till late August and I didnt get my annual freebie to the IceCicle.  :bash:  I guess I will have to stop being a tightwad and start paying him and book a trip. He is busy!

That would be awesome  ;)
Haven't heard much from Jim since his comments on hunting with ars. Did he get nailed to the cross.
Hey! I'm not a complete idiot I have parts missing. Though sometimes I wonder.

If you want to make God laugh tell him your plans.

Sounds like you guys had a fun trip. Jim has written some great stuff over the years. What another super year for the Columbia River runs.
