pups coat

So my 3 and a half month old black lab puppy's coat is not quite as soft as I think it should be. I am currently feeding her purina puppy chow. For our older lab, we have given her vitamin e pills here and there when her coat got dry and that always seemed to work. Any suggestions on things to do to bring the shine and softness to my pups coat?

Omega 3 fatty acids.Diamond brand dog foods are high in these.They make a great puppy food also.

My daughter and I were just admiring our Labs coat today.  It is really soft and shiny.  We have been feeding Taste of the Wild since he was a pup.  It's rather expensive, but he has done really well on it.  I also give him "Comfortis" for flea control.  No itching.  He's a happy dog.

Omega 3s, like everyone else said! Makes a huge difference, we do it via treats, there are liquid supplements as well.
