Classifed Board only for users with 50 posts?

Everyone got a private message. Those signing up now are getting it inside the registration agreement. I think that's good enough. If they fail to read it - well they can ask around.

I think this is a good idea, at the wrong time for me. I have bought several items off the board and every purchase was great. I feel this will only make me post a bunch of short msgs.

I venture to bet every attempted scam or sour deal was proposed / posted by a new member or someone with less than 50 posts. There have been a few scams which we rooted out quickly and many people never caught on to. A number of people have sent me comments that they might have strong suspicion of new members possibly selling off stolen items. This will cut some of that riff raff out. Certainly not everything.

This rule (50 posts in order to utilize the classifieds) might need to be posted in the classified forum (if it's not already...I could have missed it)

I believe there are 3 new adds posted already today by folks that do not fall into the 50+ post catergory. Just FYI.

Well thats the problem.  If you have under 50 posts You could not READ anything thats in the classified ad.  So posting a message there for others under 50 posts to read would do no good.

If nothing else, the GIF images in this thread are awesome! The monkey page 11, never seen that before.

It's been my experience that if you don't like the rules of one board, there's probably a similar forum with different rules if you look for it. It's rarely worth arguing - Use your Internetz and Google-Fu.

Expect a few new posts from me in order to meet the 50 post criteria. I'm a new hunter and have quite a few questions about the upcoming small game season.
