inexpensive trail camera
« on: July 26, 2010, 10:21:34 AM »
I was wondering if you guys had any recommendations on an inexpensive trail camera that isn't a piece of junk. I have wanted one for a while but have been putting all my money towards our guided elk hunt this fall. Yesterday morning, there was a decent sized black bear in our yard behind our house but by the time I got my camera he was gone. Neighbors have seen him too and I wouldn't mind trying to get some photos of him, along with all the damn elk that come through and ravage our yard.

Wildview EZ-Cam is my suggestion.  Cabela's has them right now for $49.99.  They are pretty simple on features and only 1.3 mega pixels, but for the money I don't think they can be beat. :twocents:

i have had 4 of them Wild view... Best bang for the buck and if they get stolen it doesn't hurt so bad... If you want to just know they are great. If you want awsome pics and detail buck up.  :twocents:
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

The wildlife's are cheap and VERY easy to use.  I have a few of them.  But the better deal I found this year are the Moultrie cameras.  If you go on their website, you can buy the units for about 80.  They are higher quality pics and have better features.  Both are good cameras for the $$$$.
