They may have been out for a while, but I bought mine today, so I am all set for the opener in September, (doves that is).

Just don't stick it to your license yet.  Your probably due for another 10 print outs.  I will sign mine and just keep it along with pile of tags.

I always keep mine separate just in case. As long as it is signed, everyone is happy.

yeah no joke. last year was horrible for me. my salmon catch card ink completely faded (the ink from the game dept, not my pen ink!) and I had to get reprints on my license a couple times. they just started stapling the new ones to the one with my duck stamp on it...grr. so much crap to carry around. I wish they'd move to a barcode/license system like drivers license or credit cards. If they are going to read through our license anyways to see what we're qualifed for, why not just scan it in their system. carry a cheap little barcode scanner around. let us reknew our card every year.

I thought they were headed that way when those yellow recreational use permits came out. I thought WDFW could just scan those and
gather information.  Companies where you wear ID badges to get access to areas, gather information on you as to time and place.
When you buy ferry passes, or receive passes through your employer, every time you board, information is recorded. Many of you have those grocery store discount cards. Every time you use one, the store records what you bought, who you are, etc. I read once that a shopper fell and was hurt at a grocery store. The store fought the claim by stating the shopper had purchased a quanity of liquor earlier in the day and may have been drunk. The shopper had used a store discount card.
Those bar code readers can be pretty intelligent and can provide WDFW officers with a wealth of info.
Gathering is easy. Hunting is a challenge.
