Who's getting in shape

With elk season around the corner what are you guys doing to get in shape? I have a gym membership lifting weights & cardio. Play basketball couple times a week. Anyone have any good diets or routines??

I hit the gym 4-5 times per week with a mixture of weight training, resistance training and cardio. To get in hunting shape, I do alot of treadmill work with the incline set at 15%. I usually will walk 5 minutes, run a minute or two and walk 5 minutes etc. This is a great way to prepare my legs for climbing up and down the mountains during elk season.

 :chuckle: :chuckle:

That's what I feel like.  I lift 3-5 times a week at the gym, then run 2 to 3 miles on the treadmill.  Trying to do some hiking, but can't seem to get out of the office as much as I should.  As soon as my truck is out of the shop I'll start hauling firewood for the winter, that'll help some...
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Down to almost goal weight and still hitting cardio hard. Feeling way better with more energy. Lifting weights just to tone the body. I am actually enjoying it.
