My total is either 12 or 13 can't remember, just know I've put in every year since they started the point system. I haven't turned in any poachers but I can see how there is no max.

No Nooksack hunt, that wouldn't surprise me, all those permits plus raffle and governor tags, not to mention all the Native permits they gave out. Our wildlife managers suck.

Don't EVEN go there 300. ;)

I figured I would take a little heat for that comment.

Wow 300, I have been drawn 3 times for Toutle archery bull, what are you putting in for?

That does surprise me with all these folks with large elk points.  I think that is one of theeasiest to draw out of all of them.  I guess thats just because my whole family has drawn at least once as opposed to deer.

Once I reached 5 points I started putting in for Margaret A as my only choice. After a few years of that I switched to Little Naches A as my only choice, hence me not being drawn.  :'(  My dad has drawn Toutle once and Margaret twice in that time though.

There were definitely some monsters taken out of the Nooksack unit this year.  I personally saw one that scored 280 to 300 and hear rumors of two or three more that ere 370+.  I've heard a number of people claiming that there was the new state record was taken at 400+ but I can't personally confirm those rumors.  And rumors can run wild in a sporting goods stores.  But I know for sure of a 280-300 class and pretty much everyone I've talked to says that that one wasn't even close to the biggest shot.

O for me but have drawn 2 Bull tags since the beginning of the lottery. Had success on the 1st & ate the tag last year. Maybe if I would stop bumping into M-ray on my hunts I'd have a little more luck. Got an elk tag for Wyoming this year so we'll see how that goes.  :guns:

--I will have 13 after this year, that's max. I'm applying just for my points this year on all my hunts because all my vacation time is going to my British Columbia Moose hunt this year.

2 points for me.  From what I've seen the Nooksack hunt will be offered again, same number of permits.

2 for me as well, but not for the same reason ridgerunner only has 2.

Wow 300, I have been drawn 3 times for Toutle archery bull, what are you putting in for?

Last year I had Nooksack as my first choice but prior to that I had the Watershed (Blue Mtns) as my first choice. The Watershed has decent odds but I just never had any luck.
