Thanks Dale that bison is looking better all the time.

I didn't draw deer or antelope anywhere and was busy putting everyone else in for cow elk and forgot myself. :bash:

I may have to buy a pocket full of antlerless tags or shoot a buffalo myself... :chuckle:

GOT MINE..... 3 years and 3 tags .. Not Bad except I havent had time to mount last years buck yet.
We have been getting very lucky so I'm not sure if we'll draw next year. I'm going to hold out for a nice one this year. Here is a pic from last years outing

Good Luck on your archery hunt Rick. We'll have to get together soon.

I don't know, code for haven't looked, to see if Montana cut back on available tags this year versus last year.  But I do know that the past several and even this past year along the highline and east from say Chester on had some rough snow and blow with pretty good drifting, so I've heard the Antelope have been hurt by that.  So there may have been fewer available tags.

I think you may be right Goldtip.  Was talking with a few other people that put in this year for MT goats, and none of us got drawn.  I'll bet they reduced the tags because of the 2009 late winter/spring winterkill.  I know the deer in that area suffered pretty bad last year.  There was a guy on this site that floated the Missouri Breaks last fall and only saw a few does...
