Speed Loader Question
« on: March 08, 2008, 03:37:12 PM »
I just bought an average speed loader to give me some aid in loading my SW629.  It works fine but it has a quality that rose a question.  When I lock in the shells there is enough play that they basically wiggle in their holes when I shake it gently.  This was a $8 loader and I'm just happy that it makes loading easier but for the guys that shoot for times with a reload here's the question.

Is there a loader that has a "tighter" feel/design. Is the wiggle necessary to find the cylinder chambers for a quick loading?  I could see that being the case.  If the loader was too tight you'd have to line it up PERFECTLY  every time.  Just wondering.

All my revolver speed loaders have that "wiggle".

No problem Zen, after the years, I sort of like that rattle noise as I drive down the freeway, the reloaders in the change/console... a happy sound!  :IBCOOL:

Good thing WA doesn't have toll roads.  You'd be slanggin ammo at the toll trolls and jamming em up.  "Quit holding up the line!"  ;) (I don't miss toll roads, tell you what).
