No. 4 vs 00
« on: July 28, 2010, 08:49:05 PM »
Looking to stock up on 12ga for my camp gun.  Any preferences between the two?  I've always been a 00 fan but I see a lot of guys going for #4, any real difference?  Not likely to be a home defense role, got others for that.

I like 4 shot because it puts more pellets in the zone.

#4 with a full choke is my favorite choice for 'yotes.

I also like #4 due to the large amount of shot in "the zone."
Federal 3" #4's with 41 pellets...

That'll do, pig. That'll do.  :chuckle:

I like #4 because of pellet count but i mostly shoot 2.75 0 i have a Do it sling shot pellet mold and met down tire weights 9 0  30 caliber pellets per 2.75 or 13 for a 3 inch... havn't met a yote that can handle 1 pellet and it makes great HD rounds.... I have like 100 at 25 cents a round...
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

I have several boxes of 1 buck, I believe more pellets.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!
