Can Anyone estimate this bear, I am not a big bear dude.
« on: July 31, 2010, 09:30:27 PM »
Hello,

From these pics can anyone with more experience estimate the size of this bear?

I am pretty sure he is a "shooter", either way I am going to try to shoot him!

For WA state would shoot. Would guess based upon body composition in pics  around 225-250 lbs

good luck

On the note of Sow Vs Boar....

We have massive bear activity here over the last week, and there is another set that comes, a smaller bear that looks more like a dog, and this bear has a cub, these two are never around when this one is there, thats why i think this is a Boar.

We have about 8 of these cams, on trails and all over our area, all all the time stamps match up, these bears just dont hang out together.

that bear is young...has a narrow head, tall ears, long pointy nose. I might be wrong, I'm no pro, but he looks small and young to me.
