When I drove my the water was really muddy.  I am not sure it would be worth the effort until the water cleans up some.

Here's a shot of where the White runs into the Puyallup, next to the treatment plant at 410 and Sumner.  Took this about 7am today. The water on the right is the mouth of the White, and the brown is the Puyallup.  What you can't see is just off the left edge is the lone guy fishing today.  7am yesterday, add about 30 people from Stortini's down to the back of the Safeway.

Anyone know what kind of fish are running through here now?

The only difference between a butt kisser and a brown noser is depth perception.

I talked to the guy at Sportco's fishing counter yesterday, and he had checked the count at the ladder(?) and there was something like 20 fish through.  Not alot.

The White dumps into the Puyallup in Sumner, right near the junction of 167 and 410.  The Carbon dumps into the Puyallup upstream between McMillan and Orting.  If I remember correctly the only other thing dumping into the Puyallup between the White River and the Sound is Clarks Creek.

The stretch from Freeman rd to Carbon river opened August 1st, page 42 of the regs, for trout, other game fish and salmon.  This section is between the Freeman rd and Carbon, so it's open.  From Freeman rd to the mouth of the river opens up on the 16th.

Really dirty.  I've got some other pic's of my dog standing in about 2 inches of water.  You can't see her paws!
