Went to check my buddy's camera with him the other day.  There was a pile of feathers right in front of the camera and we seen a bobcat just up the road.  We started to get excited.... when we check the camera..... batters here dead and not one pic!! that's like being kicked in the nuts!

Good luck!  I pulled a similiar move the first time I set my camera up there.  My daughter had carried the camera for me, and one of the batteries from the external flash had fallen out.  I mounted it and never opened it one last time before leaving it for 2 weeks.  I get back to find that the were a ton of night pictures with no flash.

So, I did it to myself again!  I had a battery in the wrong spot on my camera, and it would push the digital camera around as I closed the lid.  In the pushed around position, the camera couldn't extend the lens and operate.  Lots of tracks and no pics for the week!
