What vanes have you guys had the best luck flying broad heads on carbon arrows? I'm shooting the weight forward maxima camo hunters and I'm torn between four inch or four fletch blazers . I'm shooting a fall away rest so contact wont be an issue .

i shoot 4 fletch blazers on all my compound arrows, max out the offset and good to go. i also shoot a 125grain montec out of a 83 lb xforce and it spins them true :IBCOOL:

o the other thing is the vanes i shoot are blazer style. the vanes i use are the vanetec hps. since i fletch all my own arrows, the hp's have a very nice cupped base to them. the bond better then the flat bases blazer vanes. i still have some arrows with the blazers and there is nothing wrong with them i just feel i get a better stick with the hps :IBCOOL:

3 blazers for me. Those longer 4" fletches will kill your foc. I also use a wrap, fletchings seem to stick better on wraps than the carbon shaft for me. I'm shooting 125 buzzcuts and stingers and they fly like darts.

I shoot 3 2" blazers with 3 degree offset and they steer my 125grain tipped shaft like lazers.  At 50yds my groups are 4".  Of course that could also be me superior shooting ability as well  :chuckle:

I started out with 4" duravanes with a good helical but couldnt get good groups with my broadheads, my bow was tuned very well and my arrows were spinning perfectly. I fletched them with 3 two inch blazers with a 3deg helical, and now without changing anything else I am shooting 5 inch groups at 60 yds with broadheads. I wont go back to 4" again! :IBCOOL:

4.18 Flex Fletch with a left helical 3 fletch on maxima hunters.  Consistantly in the bottom of a paper cup at 50 yds.

Flex Fletch Flash vanes, comparable in size to the blazers.. I love em, durable, hold their shape well. A little more expensive but you get what you pay for.

Started out with 4" vanes.  Switched to blazers.  Now I'm shooting 3" fusion with helical.
