I know you had a great time out with the daughter. I feel bad for Rocky if you had a cup sweat in your shirt you probaly smelt really good in that in closed tent.

Sound like a great trip, and a breakfast of champions to boot.

Gasman,

Cool.  I also was in the Little Naches over the weekend.  And yes, I also found a butt load of strawberries up around 5000 ft, they looked exactly the same.  I ate about 100 of them.  Forgot a spoon to eat my freeze dried Chili Mac so Sunday's lunch was jerky, pepperoni sticks and strawberries.  No other Berries though, anywhere.  Did see alot of bear poop though.
Look man, some times you just gotta roll the dice

I saw the clothes hanging in the tree and I was expecting to see someone going bare in the next photo.   :yike:

Good for you for sticking it out with Pops. ;)

Cool find, those strawberries. Regardless of the lack of bears, I bet you'll both remember it for a long time.

Cheers.

Trips like these are what memories are made of........

I have been told, "You sure have a lot of stories" (by more then one person) and my responce to them is, "you gotta get out and do it to make those kind of memories". and i like to just go and do it....... Planed or spur of the moment, i am gonna do it........

Oh yeah, i forgot to mention we did see two Turkey Vultures on our way in, they were feasting on a dead elk.

These are the times that make the memories and stories you will share with each other as life passes. Its good to have a daughter who enjoys the same activities as you. She is a keeper
