Harvester Bullets

I need some input from any of you that have used Harvester bullets.  Some of my buddies have had good luck with them on whitetails.  I used the dead center extreme elite last season for mule deer with good results but thought I would give the harvesters a try as  there will be three of us hunting this year.  Thanks for any input.

what up gadwall haven't seen you around much. i am also looking into trying them, i will try the scorpion pt golds myself. these are one of the few bullets i have not tried yet as well. i will be trying the 300g ones as well. i have heard good things also.

I have shot the 400 grain Harvesters (solid hard cast lead) a bunch.   They are terrific for elk.  I've probably taken 6 elk with them and have no complaints.   I've been trying the TMZ's and they are a little more accurate out of my rifle but I'm still a big believer in the 400 grain Harvesters.   They make a wound channel like nothing I've seen and seem to put elk right to sleep.

When I finally connected on a deer last year, at least I didn't have to shoot him three or four more times.  My deer went right down.

I'm using the .54 caliber 330 grain hard cast Harvester this year, for deer. I just went out today and shot up a box of 20. They shot as good as I am capable of with a peep sight that covers almost the entire target at 100 yards. I think the 330 grain is the ideal weight. Just heavy enough to be effective yet not so heavy that it wallops my shoulder excessively. The best thing about them is the price- 20 bullets w/sabots for $10.
