Three and out
« on: August 04, 2010, 02:52:40 PM »
Been out last three days strait. Havnt seen one bear! Scouted this area and and saw three bears in weeks prior. Dont get it. Monday didnt see a single animal in 12 hours of hunting. Not even a mouse.  Had two idiots dicide to go target shooting after driving around my quad and setting up right below me. Not going real well so far. Does anyone have any tips on predator calls?  Havnt tried it but would like to.

South Elma to Brooklyn. Clearcuts mostly. Havnet seen a darn thing but lots of bark torn off stumps. Is there a certain time of day that is better?  Thanks for the links also.

Some better directions and I am sure a few guys will check it out and let you know where they were able to harvest them at and how they did it.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!

time of day has no meaning to bear.  I have killed them in almost every hour of daylight.  My buddy got one yesterday at 11am after sitting there since before daylight.
