Which OIL tag would you put in for?
« on: March 09, 2008, 09:58:48 PM »
With the discussion going on over in the Moose thread about Idaho tag restrictions and Washingtons, It really got me thinking. If I could only put in for 1 once in a lifetime tag a year, which would it be?

It would be sheep for me and then if I were lucky enough to draw I'd start putting in for Moose! Sorry Bone just my preference ... but look at it this way I'm one less in the moose draw!  ;)

i say moose. at this point i'd love to kill a big bull moose.
my next choice would be a sheep.

I picked sheep also, Unfourtuantely it was a financial choice, If I really wanted to I could afford moose and goat  guided hunts in Canada, not sheep.

Moose, Sheep and then goat for me, but seeing that nobody has voted for goat I might have to switch my top choice to that since your odds would be really good for being drawn

so a once in a lifetime tag  every year?... at first i wanted to say sheep,, but to me at least,, i think that after 4 or 5 years of smoking sheep,, it would seem like sheep would lose their "magic".. same for goat... so i say moose... its a helluva lot of meat,, the horns are huge and you could prolly get some buddies to help you pack out. but i would rather kill a nice ram.

I would pick goat... My dad and his hunting partner have drawn 13 goat tags over 40 years of hunting here in WA and the pictures of the hunts are priceless - not to mention the challenge crawling around in the rocks! I just want to be able to re-live one of my dad's favorite hunts!!

Dang, I would see a change in the goat odds if they changed the rules.

Sheep without doubt.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.
