Saw a bear tonite ( and blew it )
« on: August 05, 2010, 08:58:05 PM »
Went out with malardman to drop the trail cam in the spot i mentioned a few days ago ( where i spooked) and decided to swing by a clear cut on the way home figures we see a jet black bear in the 200-230 lb range.  and neither of us had a rifle. i had the 12 gauge he had a pistol. We jet back to the house to grab a rifle and come back waited for an hour but nuttin!!! damnit!!! wasnt expecting that.. As we pulled up he saw us and slowly jogged uphill to pod of trees on the edge of the clear cut and just sat there for minute then disappeared.  Had a  frigging awesome pure jet black coat..   :bash:  Oh well another area to glass in the coming days!!   :'(

This post might have the funniest title EVER!  Saw a bear tonite ( and blew it ) - how'd that taste  :yike:

(Sorry, just got out of the hospital, I blame the painkillers.)
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

OK at least I am not the only one that fell out of the chair when I read the title. I was just wondering how he held him down??

But like all said, get back out there and try again.

It is hilarious though.  Maybe somebody could custom make one of those nifty smiley face characters in honor of having the most hilarious post title and doing so unintentionally!!!
