Is this Bear?
« on: August 06, 2010, 02:54:43 PM »
I'm very new to bear hunting so I'm sorry if this is a stupid question. This is the first time I have seen a peel on a tree and can't tell if it was bear or not. Also there was a stump torn up and lots of these holes dug in the area. Probably close to a hundred of these holes in a very small area. Thanks

definetly looks like a bear peel and a stump he worked over.  The holes on the other hand look like gray digger tunnels.
If you aint hunting, you aint livin'

Thanks. I didn't think the holes were bear cause they went pretty deep but thought I would ask. It was over in the cle elum area.
