Bone.  I only have experience with the 100mm 2.8 Canon and the 90mm 2.8 Tamron.  Both are absolutely razor sharp and 1:1.  I am sure you are most pleased.  The 100 is light enough to take along on the longer big game trips in case the big game doesn't cooperate. Very nice shots.

Idabooner, I guarantee if you ever trapped one in your sweaty armpit, you'd notice it!

Cool pic!  You can tell that it is not an Africanized Honey Bee due to the fact that it is lacking an afro and gold teeth.   :chuckle:

That's one of the "metallic green sweat bees" (Genus Agapostemon).  They are native.  They do sting, too, but it's only mildly painful (I wouldn't know what it was, except I was curious after one stung me and I killed it).   I can't tell you which species it is, there are several found in eastern WA.
