Real pretty Blacktail I got to mount (Charlies Taxidermy)
« on: August 07, 2010, 10:11:03 AM »
Well, I was waiting for the customer to pick this buck up before I posted pictures of him. Well, the cape on him is just too pretty not to show off. This buck is probably one of the top 3 for being a real pretty cape I have mounted. Real nice and defined forehead markings that are nice and black, the white around his eyes and nose are great! The Sharply defined white double throat patch, and finally the real nice white armpits really acentuate the dark brisket. A cape like this makes average Taxidermy work look extremely nice. Makes my work alot easier! I will hate to see this mount leave the shop, but in the end thats how I make my living! Again, thanks for the opportunity to mount your buck for ya! I hope I did him justice!

That looks as close to a perfect cape as you could get. Another great mount Charlie.

Charlie, that is a great cape on that buck, but it didn't really make your work look any better...... :chuckle: :chuckle:  Soory man, you set yourself up for that one.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.
