Always a good day when you can throw a few in the fish box.

I was there too.  Fishing on Friday and Saturday was hot but Sunday slowed down.  Total we boated 63 salmon 13 keepers.  We went to area 4 and knocked the crap out of the bottom fish too.

Sounds like you and BC had great trip,I can feel the fun from here! Sekiu has been at the top of my list of places to hit for a long time! Jackets and knit caps in August seem down right surreal when it's 91 at midnight here!

How deep were you getting your fish rasbo?  We started off fishing 45-75 with no luck, we went down deeper and all hell broke loose between 125 and 160.  Our biggest was 12lbs and let one go that was 15+ with a partially clipped fin.  I know now that we could have kept him but the consensus to let him go rather than get a ticket was unanimous!  The week before we did get a 21lb. hatchery.  One other thing, all the fish we caught were on the soft side with their meat.  Were yours?
