Was down there all last week bear hunting and a little fishing during the day. I caught eight and only two were hatchery. Fishing on the bottom with spin-glow and prawns is how I was doing it. Best fishing was between noon and five.

Columbia dropped a degree today down to 70. If you are in the right spot you shold get a take down or too, but if you dont know where the fish are it will be frusterating.

Well, went down for a couple of hours this evening lost one and landed one hatchery.  Slow but they're out there.  We bobber fished with the bobber stop at 28' we used pink dyed prawns with shrimp oil.  Good luck and tight lines.

Jeez 28 feet? that seems deep for underwood, were you fishing off the bank under the bridge? or were you in a boat?

Off the bank under the bridge.  I have a bass boat but it is not real conducive to salmon or steelhead fishing and was fishing with my wife but we only have one pontoon.

Oh then I can see why you were fishing so deep. Was anyone else catching them?
