He got booted for his holier than thou attitude. Would claim he wouldn't shoot anything past 30 yards. That it was wrong to use high powered scopes, wrong to take long shots, wrong to bait, wrong to use tree stands, wrong to scratch your ass, wrong to do just about anything  :chuckle:

And wrong to kill predators.

Not to sure he is really a hunter,  most of his posts are to stir up arguments.  WHo would post saying he shot 3 different bears and only tracked them for 5 minutes and gave up?  Just my opinion....

I believe the largest grain bullet they make for a .270 is 150 gr.  IMHO it is all about bullet placement.  I watched BTKR drop a 180 sow at 275 wth a 130gr .270.  I believe that is all he uses.  Learn your gun!

The bear I shot, I spent a lot more than 5 minutes searching for, and even had several friends, and one guy from the website look.  it took my calves a full week to stop hurting.  5 minutes that is just horrible! :twocents:

Ya and all I did was ask for camping pictures, and say that his attitude displayed a lack of knowledge.
And suggested that he was actually a "Bar-stool Sportsman" (you know the type) that had read a few magazine articles and books, maybe watched a Disney Film, Marty Stouffer whatever...
And was just trying to get a reputation as a great hunter without any real experience.
Then I asked about him switching from using an open sighted 30/30 to a bow between seasons, if he used a modern compound with sights and a release, or Traditional Archery equipment.
As soon as I hit "submit", I was banned...Oh well... :dunno:
Instead of what I DID WRITE, "I think he is just misunderstood, lets give him a chance" showed up in its place.. :dunno:

He's worse than the mods at iFish. I like it there, a ton of fishing tips, but ease up a bit.
