Yep going out anyway.  Hunt early, late, close to the road or not at all but I gotta get out.  Scout for elk and maybe do some coyote hunting if bear hunting is out.   I have been an archery hunter all my life and Im use to hunting (or not hunting) in hot weather.  Sept temps are usually about the same.  :dunno:  Good luck to all who choose to brave the temps.  Bring a camera.

I went up to my hidie hole last Saturday evening while Mrs Pop was at her 20 yr hi school reunion. The black berries are not ripe nor the apples  :'( . No sign of anything moving but the skeeters,  they just about packed me off. Where you headed to Kain?

Very nice offer although I wont have any cell coverage where Im going.  Just looked at the forecast and it says it will be in the low 90's down here.  LAME!!!  Oh well I need the exercise and I have a new camera I want to try out.  All the weight in extra water is going to suck though.  :bash: :bash:

Getting gathered up myself. I haven't been this excited for an opener in a long time. Talked to the folks last night, telling them to be ready for the phone call to get the walk in cooler turned on. When I get into cell service,  I'm only 45 minutes from the cooler. I'm spoiled,  I know. But in this weather meat is going to go bad fast. Best of luck to all the people headed out this weekend!
