Elk taxidermy around Spokane?
« on: August 10, 2010, 01:00:46 PM »
I'm looking to get in contact with a taxidermist around Spokane for an Elk mount before the season.  Any good suggestions??

Warriner taxidermy in Ritzville does a nice job.....  Did my mount this last year.  Pretty reasonable too!  Let me know if you want his number

Smartazz:
I've been in the taxidermy biz for 10 years now and if I were to pick a taxi in Spokane it would be Scott Brewer hands down. World class and VERY expensive. If your looking for a deal look elswere but if you want a mount of a lifetime check out scott.
Good luck.

Hey thanks whacker... havent been on in a while so I'm out of touch.

Smartazz... we love doing elk and we are not far from Spokane. Plus we are in town all the time.
If you want to see our work just email me at cberg@cbarchery.com and I can send some pics.
We have two elk going out the door this weekend if you want to check them out first before they do.

Personally I'd drive 4 hours to Seattle and deliver it to Bucklucky.  Why....he is the best elk taxidermist I have seen and I have looked over THOUSANDS of mounts.   He charges fairly.  4 hours is nothing when it comes to the scheme of things.  You will have it a lifetime.  One evening at home stairing up at it equates to over 4 hours.    IMagine that 365 x x amount of years.   What is a couple hours.
