Bushnell Trohpy Cam
« on: August 11, 2010, 09:21:56 AM »
Hey guys any of you guys use this camera??  I really like it, the small size is helping me hang it in better places but i am noticing that the night time pictures are not very bright at all. i basically cant see anything.  I am using all 8 double A batteries and used the best ones i could buy.  Is this just how the camera is since it is so small, not enough IR lights?? Any ideas would help guys, want to get a couple more but a little worried about the night time photos.   Thanks.

The elk picture looks good to me.  What image quality setting is your camera set on?
Nature. It's cheaper than therapy.

I have it set on 8mp, that is a good picture but the other 75 percent have blurry critters

that picture is a lot better than the night time ones i have gotten.  I do have blurry ones.  My daytime ones are great but night time is what i am worried about.  I need to go check my settings maybe.  What is your sensitivity level set at?? I havent had any issues with all of my other cameras, only when the batteries get low.  But these are brand new and its like 90 degrees out so cant be from the cold.

I have the IR stteing at medium and I got to reading about the blurry pics and they say to change the mp from 8 to 5 or 3, don't know what the hell the point is in getting a cam with 8mp if you have change it to 3mp to get a clear picture  :dunno: sales tactic well it work on me  :bash:
