My brother and I caught this salmon trolling off Vashon Island yesterday.

Yep, we usually stop there and let the fish checker record the stats and scan for a tag in the snout!

If you guys are referring to the weight, the digital scale on our boat as well as the scale at the point defiance boat house both said 20 lbs. Think what you want if that helps you sleep at night, not everybody on this site tells fish stories!!!!

Sorry not trying to be a dick. Ive fished Pt. Defiance for over 13 years. A ton. Ive fished with Tom hundreds of times, salmon and steelhead all over this state. He's the checker Im sure you are referring to. Im not losing any sleep. If I do it will be from all the fish that I caught calling twelve or thirteen that could have been twenties or bigger over the years.

Ive seen LOTS of guys down there over weighing thier catch, its not uncommon. Not like I was lo balling ya, 15, 20 heck whatever. Nice fish!

This year its a nice fish. Fishing isn't a competition so don't get worked up about others saying your fish was a different weight. Thats what we do to each other, its just hazing. My steelhead and salmon tend to grow after I catch them and many a 17 or 18 has magically made the twenty mark. Thats why I don't take pics anymore!
