I try to keep the fish healthy. I know we got one lodged deep down a couple weeks ago and managed to get the hook out without dragging the sturgeon out of the water. It can be done but I understand they are tough fish and it isn't easy work. Probably best to leave those sort of photos off the internet.

All that hall monitor talk... Well, let's just say people don't get paid cash to be hall monitors. And when they get confronted like that... they'll probably make an example out of someone.. Try some humble pie. It might make you a better person. I know it's hard for me too once in a while. I'm not perfect.

If you see illegal bear baiting why not call the game dept? I think you're already getting started off on the wrong foot here. If you want to go point for point on example photos and try to get evidence of bear baiting with intent to harvest over bait you'll be working a long time. I don't use apples to take photos of bears myself. Apparently some people in the game department will cite people for it while others will not cite for it. It's not such a definitive or atomic matter. But hey, why not call out someone else in order to change the subject and avoid criticism, right?

Yeah, I don't know why people nit pic so much. By the way, made some corrections here for you:

"not too worried about it just measured a fish that was too long made a comment on the pic of it being too big and guys jump on it like it's and eight footer it was 4 inches too long and i wouldn't report anything i see on here not my responsability don't like diggin pot holes for my self didn't know people feathers would get so ruffled around here lesson learned wont show any of the ones that were close only the legal sized ones"

Not to worried about it. (I) just measured a fish that was too long. (I) made a comment on the pic of it being to big and you guys jump on it like it's an eight footer. It was 4 inches to long and I wouldn't report anything I see on here. Not my responsibility. (I) don't like digging pot holes for myself and didn't know people's feathers would get so ruffled. Lesson learned. (I) won't show any of the ones that were close, only the legal sized ones.

Just messing with you.

h20hunter...You cheated sir! I was all set to correct your correction and you beat me to it while I was in the process! Sometimes I wonder if people don't know what the red line under stuff they have typed means let alone any sort of proper grammar, I had to read that guy's post (snocobearhunter's) about three times before I was reasonably certain of what he was trying to say.
The reason there are so many Ruger upgrades is because they're necessary.

I couldn't help it. I am no saint when it comes to life. Just recently I may or may not have caught and netted a very nice king before remembering to check if it was clipped. If I did, not saying I did, I sure would have made sure I got that sucker back in the water quick. Also, if I had taken a picture, not saying I did, I would have kept it to myself.

It's cool to take them out of the water, I saw a picture of a guide that did it. :chuckle:

I know of an outfitter that was baiting bears in Oregon and he had pictures too, I guess that's okay then too :dunno:
