I alsi hunt kelloge lake, what are you driving?
Even if the Bears are not moving in the clear cuts and berry fields out in the open, they are still moving. You just need to find out where they are moving when it is hot out. I highly doubt they are curled up in the shade waiting out the heat. They are probably sticking to shady areas that get enough sun for berries to grow but keep them out of the direct sun. Even the shade is a lot cooler than open sun.
To me the point is not whether or not a person can find game during this heat, but is it possible to get a bear out before the meat is spoiled? Also it's just plain uncomfortable to be out hunting when temperatures are in the 90's, or upper 80's. Sorry but it just doesn't even sound like fun to me. Especially when we only have to wait a few days, and the high temps will be back down into the upper 60's.

Way to HOT for me, If you knock down a big bruin you will be hard pressed to get it out before the meat starts spoiling, esp if you shoot it down in a draw or way back in. I can wait until it cools down before I'm heading out.
